What is the last thing you learned?
Knowledge of any sort is a product of the human mind and thus a social construct.
I have learned that like most things, learning is not a one and done thing. The lessons that I learn, day in and day out, are nonlinear.
Often I am frustrated with myself, for all of my natural intelligence why can’t I figure it all out?
The answer is everything changes. People. Technology. Societal norms. Even data. There are few empirical facts. I learn and unlearn and relearn and flat out forget, many of the lessons that come my way. Learning is a path, not a destination.
If you think you haven’t learned anything recently, take heart dear one, most likely any knowledge you would have gained will change sooner than later anyways, or at least your understanding of the information might. It has nothing to do with intelligence. Intelligence is not what you know, it is your capacity and willingness to learn.
Stay open. Stay curious. Life will show you what you need to know.
